We do have limited space in Kindergarten and grades 5 through 8, as well as a couple spots in our 3 year old preschool. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED
Saint Basil Catholic School is looking for people interested in being a substitute teacher. This position is on an "as needed" basis-we are looking to add interested people to our substitute teacher list. Candidates must be a certified teacher (an expired teaching certificate is okay), or have a Michigan substitute teacher permit (or be able to acquire one). All substitute teachers must be VIRTUS trained, or willing to become trained, and submit to a background check. TITLE IX COORDINATOR
While the Diocesan Schools do not concede that Title IX of the U.S. Education Amendments of 1972 applies to them, they nevertheless strive to adhere to the principles and aspirations of Title IX. Thus, at Saint Basil Catholic School, the principal is appointed the Title IX Coordinator. Saint Basil Catholic School abides by Policy #4166.4 and its accompanying regulations (Policy #5151) found in the Policy Manual of the Catholic Schools –Diocese of Kalamazoo regarding harassment and discrimination.
