TITLE IX COORDINATOR
While the Diocesan Schools do not concede that Title IX of the U.S. Education Amendments of 1972 applies to them, they nevertheless strive to adhere to the principles and aspirations of Title IX. Thus, at Saint Basil Catholic School, the principal is appointed the Title IX Coordinator. Saint Basil Catholic School abides by Policy #4166.4 and its accompanying regulations (Policy #5151) found in the Policy Manual of the Catholic Schools –Diocese of Kalamazoo regarding harassment and discrimination. The principal will answer questions and disseminate information about Policy #4166.4, investigate complaints, and take appropriate corrective action pursuant to this policy.
